Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to “Edit Profile” to delete your account. Note that some information may be kept in order to send a tutors their income report for tax purposes.
How do I deactivate my profile?
Go to “Edit Profile” and click on the “Deactivate Profile” button to deactivate your profile.
What happens if I deactivate my account?
Your profile will no longer be visible on the platform and students cannot request a session with you. However, you can send session invites to your existing students.
How do I reactivate my profile?
Go to “Edit Profile” and select the “Activate Profile” button to reactivate your profile.
Will my personal information be shared with the students?
No. Your home address, email, and phone number is not shared. The information visible to the students from a tutor profile includes: school information, availability, subjects you tutor, bio, response time, and cancelation notice.
Why was my account deactivated by Takavi Tutors?
Takavi Tutors will deactivate a tutor account if the tutor does not answer multiple session bookings sent by the students. We want to make sure students have access to tutors who are active on the platform and respond to booking requests.
