Do I need payment information on file?
Yes. A method of payment must be on file before requesting a session with a tutor.
How do I pay for a session?
Your card will automatically be charged when a tutor marks a session as complete.
Can I pay for a session in advance?
No. You will be charged once a tutor marks your session as complete.
Why is there a charge for a session that was canceled?
If you cancel a session which does not follow a tutor’s cancelation notice, then you are charged for the session. Please make sure to review and follow your tutors policies for cancelation.
Why is there a no show fee for a session?
This happens if your tutor marks you as a no show for a session because you are 10 or more minutes late to a session (without contacting the tutor).
Can I directly pay a tutor?
No. Payments should always be made through our platform so that every session is tracked and accounted for. Any violations shall result in an account suspension.
My card was charged twice. What should I do?
If this were to occur, we would send you a refund. This may take up to 15 business days to show up on your bank statement. You can also email support, to get confirmation about a refund.
Why is the session fee more than a tutor’s hourly rate?
Our platform has an 8% service fee that will be added for each session. The service fee is used to maintain all accounts and process all payments safely.
Do I get a receipt for a session?
Yes. Please go to the “Billing Information” section and there you will find receipts for all your past sessions.
Is there a place for me to see all the sessions that I paid for?
Yes. Please visit our “Billing Information” section.
Can I add a tip for a tutor?
Yes. Go to the “Billing Information” section and click on“Pay Tip” for any sessions that you want to add a tip to. Please note that a 2.99% +$0.30 will be added to any tip.
